With over 15 years of experience as a producer, engineer, and marketer for professional musicians, Jonathan Fluevog - owner of Vogville Recording - has always been defined by a strong desire to pursue his own individual passions. Eldest son of acclaimed shoe designer John Fluevog and Sixties supermodel Kecia Nyman, he was drawn to sound at an early age and eventually chose recording over fashion. After perfecting his engineering skills in various studios, he put his ambitious nature to the test by founding his own studio, Vogville Recording, in 1998.
Putting quality of musical production ahead of client roster quantity, Fluevog has grown the mechanics and feel of Vogville Recording from the ground up with an impressive arsenal of high-end equipment and its own unique vibe.
Now ranked among Canada's finest recording studios, Vogville Recording has welcomed a multitude of talent and was named Studio of the Year at the BCCMAs in 2010.
With an eye toward expanding the Vogville brand into into live musical events, Fluevog launched Vogville's Day & Night Festival in 2011 to critical acclaim from musicians and audiences alike. His latest creative endeavour is theupcoming video series Vogville Presents - premiering September 6th, 2011 on Vogville.com - where he will use his significant industry influence as a platform to highlight hand-picked North American musicians.
